Legendary

Charming, tall, and handsome,

You lived our secret dreams.

Robbing banks and running the roads,

We grew to idolize you.

No attachments, no inhibitions,

You were the epitome of freedom.

Gorgeous cars and gorgeous women,

How we longed to be you!

We followed your story in every paper,

We heard the reports and gossip.

Alas, we knew it had to end,

Though some thought you immortal.

Ambushed after a movie,

It was the woman in red's doing.

Three shots took you down,

Despite the fight you put up.

Three loud shots,

And you were gone.

Some refuse to believe it,

They say you hid in Mexico.

For you are a legend,

And a legend may never die.
i wrote this in my english class about a week ago.
its part of a "mulit-genre biography" project.
this is the first poem of four.
