Irises

my mom's favorite flowers have always been purple bearded irises, and she'd been dropping not-so-subtle hints that i should paint one for her. so i did these. not exactly what she wanted, true, but she was still very impressed by them.

this is the first time ive painted anything (outside of an art class) in at least a year. i forgot how calming it can be.

their meant to look like stained glass.
